Quite a few years ago, Dr. Wise was invited by the pastor, of the church I was attending at the time, to come and share from the pulpit. During that time, Dr. Wise mentioned he had a school to train people in the Bible. I had always wanted to go to seminary but thought I was not smart enough to gain a doctorate, even though I had a master's in a different field. I thought Dr. Wise's school would be the perfect answer. I drove for an hour each Saturday morning for several months. My grades were always perfect. Because of Dr. Wise's encouragement and the Lord's direction, I applied to a seminary and have now graduated with my Doctorate in Ministry. Over the past years, we have had the privilege of hosting the IFFM Leadership Training Program in Lima, Perú, where people from different churches, including pastors, have actively participated. Through these sessions, based on the classes from the Wise School of Ministry, many have learned more about the great commission of preaching, teaching, and healing, as well as what it truly means to be a leader. This mission school is not only impacting Peru but is also spreading to other countries such as Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and beyond.
In this context, I would like to highlight Dr. Wise’s visit to Peru in 2023. During his team’s stay, we held a three-day program at our local church, Christ the Lord International Ministries, bringing together pastors, ministry and believers from different regions. Dr. Wise also had the privilege of ministering to leaders of the two largest pastors’ associations in Peru (FEPAC and CONNPE), where his message touched many lives and his influence was so significant that he was honored with awards in recognition of his contribution. We sincerely pray that, the Almighty God will continue to keep Dr Wise, the first lady and the ministerial crew and as well keep the vision of IFFM active and purposeful globally in Jesus Christ name.
